Rupingh Foundation and the company's donators offer financial support for water projects (infrastructure) and children's homes.

Water projects
Water is rare on Flores , especially in the dry season. As soon as people have to walk more then 2km to a river to get water, help is given. The foundation constructed a water pipeline from a higher well to the village. This directly provides a positive effect to the health of the people.

Children's homes
The idea to support children financially (adoption), came after a visit to a children's home. The purpose of the visit was to investigate the possibility of adoption of orphans and to offer a better way of life in the Netherlands . Mrs Marie Jeanne Colson, alias 'Mama Belgi', head of the children's home, did not think this was a good idea. She thought it would be better for the children to grow up in their own environment. This is how the current adoption program came to life.
